We could not be more thrilled with the Myscal Encore progeny at the Eqinade Riding Pony Foal Show.
Champion filly went to the gorgeous 'Nalinga Wind In The Willows' , owned by Cath, Laura Bradley and Bill Bull. She was beautifully prepared and shown by Nathan Berrill. Reserve filly was the gorgeous MP Sitting Pretty owned by Merivale Park and Nick and Bree Petrie.
Another lovely filly Birchwood Enchantress won her filly class and also went Reserve Champion Filly for Jamie Carson. She was bred by Nick and Bree Petrie.
In one of the filly classes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners where all by Encore.He is certainly leaving his mark as a sensational stallion.
The only colt to be shown by Encore was MP Royal Ascot, this elegant, all quality colt was Res to the eventual Supreme winner. He is owned and prepared by Katie Garan, who has done a sensationl job.
We must thank all the people who commented on Encore progeny, we certainly had some terrific remarks. A big thank you to all people with Encore foals that put in such wonderful efforts to get their foals looking so sensational.

Riding Pony Gala Foal Show
Myscal Encore progeny made us very proud.
We were wrapped to win the Progeny Pair with the two chesnut fillies, Merivale Park Sitting Pretty and Birchwood Enchantress who was also named Reserve Champion Filly. The exotic, Nalinga Wind in the Willows made a big impression at the show, as did the ' Newington' Filly by Encore and the stunning, Merivale Park Royal Ascot placing second to the eventual Champion.

'Ruby' attended her first foal show at Wandin coming home with many ribbons, Champion P/W Filly under 12.2hh, Reserve Open Breeds under 12.2hh and won her RP Filly class. 'Merivale Park Royal Ascot' and 'Birchwood Enchantress' also had a wonderful show, flying the flag for Encore.

Melbourne Summer Royal Horse Show
We must congratulate Merivale Park Toy Soldier on winning the 12.2hh and under led gelding, he also went onto win the huge leading rein class. Ridden by the gorgeous Delta Wardle and capably led by Linley Arnold Wardle.
Also congrats to Lizzie Krog who with her pony MP Victorius had a great show having some high placings.
We were pleased with Langtree Chanel placing 2nd in the Newcomers,this was the only class she started in and after her Runner Up at Barastoc and Champion at EFA Horse Show we have decided she will go into the broodmare paddock to be covered by Encore in the near future.
Thanks again to Rose McEvoy and Tamara Lee for their wonderful efforts riding Chanel for us. We are happy to congratulate Jodi Christoffersen on the purchase of MP Royal Windsor, all the luck with this beautiful galloway.Jodi owns Fancy Filly (hats and accessorries), best of luck with this new venture also.
Good news, MP French Lace arrived at Georgia Cookes property looking a treat after her long trip to NSW. Best of luck with her Georgia.
Also MP Royal Ascot has settled in well at his new home and we wish Katie Garvan lots of luck with him also.

More foals news - Fiona and Mark Rae have informed us that their mare has produced a beautiful brown colt by Encore, this was an AI foal and we are very happy for them. Stud News - We are thrilled to say that all our six mares are in foal.

She will produce a full sibling to MP Town Fair ( twice royal show supreme), MP Royal Encore (beautiful colt as yet to be shown), half brother to MP Steal The Show(Supreme Royal Champion,first outing Toowoomba Royal), Willowcroft Winter (Grand National small galloway and Multiple royal show champion), just to name some of this truly exceptional mares progeny.
We only have two foals left for sale MP Sitting Pretty, to make a TOP national quality 12.2hh an MP Royal Windsor to make 14.2hh/15hh, these foals are both absolutely beautiful and will only be sold to the best of show homes.

We could no be more pleased with Chanel, she coped with her first show amazingly.
We are thrilled to announce that we have purchased back from Marilyn Peterken of NZ Raleigh Bo Peep and her foal.
Merivale Park and Birchwood Stud have gone in partnership on this beautiful mare and foal. Her gorgeous chestnut filly to be called 'Merivale Park Sitting Pretty' will mature appox 12.2hh. She will be avaiable for sale to a TOP show home only. Pics to come soon.
Bo Peep is safely back in foal to Encore and we are very excited about getting another sensational foal this year. Thanks to Bree and Nick for making this possible.
Merivale Park Royal Encore has settled in beautifully in Bridgetown WA for new owners Jade and Jo O Brien. We wish them every success with this most magnificent colt.
We also have had a visit to Nancy Millers to see MP Town Fair and what a stallion he has grown into, breaktaking!
His foals are extremely pretty and what movers. Nancy is thrilled with his foals and we could not be happier to see him breed on so well.
Encores last two foals where born recently a chestnut colt,very upstanding out of Weston Miranda and the prettiest bay filly, two white socks behind out of Cheraton Tarentella. Louise Drysdale will surely have a great deal of success with these two foals when they hit the ring.
Also news from Robyn Clarke, her Rathowen mare has foaled a lovely dark brown colt with a white star. He also looks very nice, so we will look forward to seeing all Encores foals out and about soon. So all Encores foal have arrived and we eagerly await next years crop.
November/ December
Congratulations to Georgia Cooke of Redlands Stables in Terrigal, NSW who has purchased the beautifully bred, Merivale Park French Lace. We wish her all the best with Claudia.
We wish to Congratulate Jade and Jo O' Brien of Priory Stud (WA), on the purchase of the beautitful colt 'Merivale Park Royal Encore'. No doubt he will make his mark in the show ring and at stud just like his illustrious family.
Other exciting news, Lunch Abroad has foaled a brown colt by Myscal Encore. This extremely leggy foal is truely beautiful and has exceeded our expectations. (below)

Chelsea Henning's Malibu Park Stilleto had a bay filly.
On a sad note, Nathan Berrill's colt passed away early in his life. We look forward to the mare comming back this season,as the foal was truely beautiful. Our sympathies to Nathan.
October /November

Merivale Park Royal Ascot has been sold to Katie Garvan of NSW. This amazing foal is sure to have a huge future ahead of him. We congatulate her on this purchase.

Fairley Camilla (imp) has had a stunning filly foal. A Chesnut filly with white stripe and sock. The filly is by Wedgenock Coffee Pot (imp), sire of Royalwood Songbird and Roseden Beyond Expectations, who have been so sucessful in the show ring of late.

He is a full brother to the highly successful Merivale Park Serenade Rose (pic below). He should mature approx. 13.2hh. Already he is showing an exceptionally high set front and extravagant movement. A future sire in the making!
June/ July
Merivale Park is thrilled to annouce the purchase from Langtree Stud of the beautiful imported mare, Fairley Camilla (IMP).
Camilla is a full sister to the super sire Fairley Temptation (IMP). She is 13.2hh, liver chestnut. She is in foal to Wedgenock Coffe Pot (IMP).
We are extremely grateful to Jan for giving us the oppurtunity to purchase this gorgeous mare.
Camillas foal will avaiable for purchase, as will Lunch Abroad's foal, Willowcroft Hill Rose's foal (this being a full sibling to MP Serenade Rose)and also Willowcroft Regal Encore's Foal.
We are currently taking expressions of interest for these four foals , they are due from 14th August through until Nov.
Also MP Opening Night is off to NZ to his new home, we wish his new owners all the very best.
Raleigh Bo Peep is also heading off to NZ after she has foaled,she will be put back in foal before heading to her new home. We wish her new owner best of luck with her and we are looking forward to foaling her down here at Merivale Park.
May/June
NE&BR Foal Show at Tatura Park was asuccessful show for Encore Foals. Merivale Park Carousel was awarded Champion Open Breeds Foal, Reserve RP Filly and Reserve P/W Filly. She is now owned by Birchwood Stud, Bree and Nick Petrie.
Other foals to do well were Merivale Park Opening Night and Bremala My Fair Lady for the Thompson Family. This filly went on to the Heathcote Foal Show and won many champions, great news !
The Riding Pony Foal show was held at Werribee, we again had great success. Merivale Park Carousel won her filly class and was named Reserve Filly of the show.

We are pleased to announce that Newington Chatterbox has been placed in a new home in New Zealand with Jeanette Brown of the Ataahua Stud, we wish her every success with the mare.
The stud has acquired a new 12.2 mare to ad to the brood mare band once she has completed a few seasons under saddle. Her name is Langtree Chanel. She is a full sister to the stunning Langtree Cartier. We thank Jan Langley very much for letting us obtain the only filly from this highly successful line. She is currently being broken in and will hopefully make newcomers this season.

Merivale Park Steal the Show, was Awarded Best Gelding Exhibit at the 2007 RPSBS Show in QLD over his big brother Willowcroft Regal Winter, Once again Congratulations to the Widdowson Family on their Successes with Hugo and also Will at Sydney Royal.
Also New from the Australian Championships at SIEC. Merivale Park NV was awarded once again, Australian Champion Arabian Riding Pony Stallion/ Colt. Also wining a big title was Lizzy Krog and Merivale Park Victorious being awarded Australian Champion Riding Pony Gelding and Top Ten in all other classes.
March / April
We are thrilled to annouce that not only did, Hugo, (MP Steal The Show) attend his first show being a Royal (Toowoomba) but won a large yearling class and then went on to winChampion Youngstock but also then he took out the Supreme Riding Pony Exhibit !

Congatulations to the Widdowson family on this wonderful win.Also they must be congratulated on Willowcroft Regal Winter again taking out the Champion Galloway at Sydney Royal. We cannot wait to get his half brother MP Royal Encore out and about to some shows next show season.

Also congratulations must go to Rowena Cameron and her colt MP Court Jester who was second to MP Steal The Show and also won his Saddle Pony colt class and was declared Champion Stallion or Colt . Kolbeach Tunes purchased from MP also won the 12.2hh RP Led class . Rowena had a wonderful show also with homebred Riveridge Song Of Spring,who was Reserve Champion RP Youngstock and then won her Saddle Pony class,Champion Mare or Filly and then was declared Supreme Saddle Pony Exhibit.
A huge thank you to Rowena and Daryl for putting us up( Nathan Berrill and myself) and looking after us so well, we had a wonderful time and cant wait ot go back again!
More news form Qld Judy Voigts MP Prince Charming won his RP 2yo class at the Gatton Youngstock Show and was declared Champion Riding Pony and eventuall Best 2yo of the Show! What a wonderful effort for a pony thats going to be a lead rein pony, Lewis is to be Judys grandaughters(Lara s) lead rein pony in the near future, cant wait to see these two cuties together! I was also lucky enough to meet Judy in person at Toowoomba after many emails, it was lovely to meet and have a quick catch up.

Merivale Park Steal The Show (Willowcroft Winter x Willowcroft Regal Emblem) will make his debut at Toowoomba Royal for the Widdowson famliy.
Steal The Show is a three quarter brother to the hugely successful Willowcroft Regal Winter. Regal Winter again came home with Champion Galloway from Canberra, his second year in a row. Congratulations to the Widdowson famliy once again.

Vic Youngstock Show- Hidden Valley Jan 07
We were thrilled with the succes of the young colt Merivale Park Court Jester owned by Rowena Cameron in Qld. This colt was shown by Mr Nathan Berrill for Champion Yearling Colt.Congratulations again to Court Jester on gaining a top three finalist at the Vic RP Classic in the hotly contested 11.3hh 12.3hh yearling class.He also placed 3rd in a strong yearling class at Canberra Royal.Court Jester is now heading to Toowoomba Royal where we wish Rowena all the best of luck with her beautiful colt.

Little Willowvale Forget Me Not was awarded Champion Filly and eventual Supreme Part Welsh Exhibit of the Show, Led by Mr Simon Parker.
She also changed hands at this show and will be leaving Australia to go to the Glenvale Stud
in NZ, home of Birchwood Bubbling Champagne.
Merivale Park Fairy Dust owned by ESH placed in all her classes at the Summer Royal.Which when your only 11hh and some classes where under 14.2hh is a terrific effort.Well done Emma,Kristian,Ellie and Fairy.
